The purpose of this blog is for its members to read through the entire Bible. We are all using the Daily Bible: in Chronological Order by F. Lagard Smith. We are starting and ending with the story of Jesus. Those who participate write a one sentence summary of what they learned about God and, if in the Old Testament, how the reading points to Jesus. When the Israelites tried to beat their enemies without the help of the Lord, they failed completely. Lord, help me to trust in your power alone instead of trusting in my own abilities alone.
