Jesus plants the seed of God's Word in people's hearts. Those who value it can experience its great treasure.

The Pharisees could not believe JEsus though he performed so many miracles. He responds saying that we will be held accountable for every word that comes from our mouth. I pray that my words may be pleasing to Jesus.

Jesus teaches with authority the true meaning of the Law and its deep application for those who believe.

Jesus is Lord of the Sabbath and a man of deep prayer whose day and decisions were guided by prayer.

Jesus came to bring forgiveness and healing, he is like the light at dawn to a dark world.

Jesus is the Messiah who came into the world and is above all things. Through Jesus, I will not perish but I can have water that wells up to eternal life.

Jesus is my high priest who has tempted in every way yet was without sin. He conquered Satan's temptation through trust in God's word.

God is Sovereign even over evil kings who intend to hinder God's plan; this can never happen because God's plan of redemption through Jesus will prevail even through the most humble of circumstances.

Jesus is the Rising Sun who entered our world to shine God's light and save us from our sin. What a beauty!

Jesus is not only from the line of kings but is Himself King of kings as the Son of God.

First Reading - October 18

I learned that Jesus is Creator God who came into our world to save sinful and dark humanity. Praise Jesus our Savior!
