We are starting and ending with the story of Jesus. Those who participate write a one sentence summary of what they learned about God and, if in the Old Testament, how the reading points to Jesus. While the devil and evil are powerful, we can find comfort in the fact that God and His angels are greater. We can trust Him to lead us through any trials victoriously when we choose to follow Him.
Satan is the great deceiver who leads me astray. I should be careful about listening to the messages I hear from the world. Instead, Lord, please help me to listen to Jesus even though I am struggling to focus on him.
