The purpose of this blog is for its members to read through the entire Bible. We are all using the Daily Bible: in Chronological Order by F. Lagard Smith. We are starting and ending with the story of Jesus. Those who participate write a one sentence summary of what they learned about God and, if in the Old Testament, how the reading points to Jesus. December 19th
If we die in Jesus, we will also live with Him. If we endure, we will also reign with him. We have eternal and everlasting hope in God. Therefore I pray to keep my head up in all stiuations and endure hardship.
We will always be constantly tempted by the people around us. Lord, in those moments, please humble us and help us to simply believe in the truth that you have given us. I ask that you be with me especially as I talk to the people I care about deeply; I pray that you guide me words and that no matter what I do, I am primarily acting as a servant of God.
