The purpose of this blog is for its members to read through the entire Bible. We are all using the Daily Bible: in Chronological Order by F. Lagard Smith. We are starting and ending with the story of Jesus. Those who participate write a one sentence summary of what they learned about God and, if in the Old Testament, how the reading points to Jesus. There needs to be less of me and more of Jesus - not only in certain aspects of my life, but in every bit of my life. Lord, teach me how to seek you.
I want to trust in God, and present all things to Him in prayer and petition. For it is only through God that we can have a peace that transcends all understanding, and that through the love of Jesus, our hearts and minds can be guarded and protected.
