The purpose of this blog is for its members to read through the entire Bible. We are all using the Daily Bible: in Chronological Order by F. Lagard Smith. We are starting and ending with the story of Jesus. Those who participate write a one sentence summary of what they learned about God and, if in the Old Testament, how the reading points to Jesus. December 24
Jesus our high priest in the order of Melchizedek is able to save completely, intercedes for us, meets our needs in ways that the old covenant could never do.
We no longer need to sacrifice animals because the blood of Jesus takes away all of our sins. We have a forgiving God.
