The purpose of this blog is for its members to read through the entire Bible. We are all using the Daily Bible: in Chronological Order by F. Lagard Smith. We are starting and ending with the story of Jesus. Those who participate write a one sentence summary of what they learned about God and, if in the Old Testament, how the reading points to Jesus. After the flood, God said that he will never again destroy the living things on earth in a similar fashion even though every human is born as a sinful being. Instead, God sent Jesus to save us. Our God shows us mercy.
