Everything that God created was good. It was only when Satan entered the Garden of Eden that the world was corrupted. The sins committed there led to shame and broken relationships just as our sins distance us from God. Lord, help me to realize that Satan is tempting me and help me to not be deceived but to stand firm in your word.
God is a good creator. He loves what He has created, and provides there every need. God, help me to remember you love me simply because I am your creation. Help me to trust in you as my provider.
ReplyDeleteGod is sovereign over every creature on earth. He is sovereign over my life, but gives me freedom of choice out of his love. I pray, Lord, that I may I use this freedom to make a decision to follow after your heart.
