The purpose of this blog is for its members to read through the entire Bible. We are all using the Daily Bible: in Chronological Order by F. Lagard Smith. We are starting and ending with the story of Jesus. Those who participate write a one sentence summary of what they learned about God and, if in the Old Testament, how the reading points to Jesus. Happy reading everyone!

Jesus is the savior of all people, whom by his act of sacrificial love convicts many to repent and follow Him.
When the people heard that they had also played a part in crucifying Jesus, many people repented and were baptized. This shows that the crucifixion was not only the time when Jesus took the burden of our sin, but that it gave many people the chance to change their lives by turning to God.
