We are starting and ending with the story of Jesus. Those who participate write a one sentence summary of what they learned about God and, if in the Old Testament, how the reading points to Jesus. Jesus demonstrates an amazing amount of courage and endurance in the face of great suffering and opposition.
Even at the point of most overwhelming sorrow, Jesus trusts His Father and says: "not my will, but yours be done."
