We are starting and ending with the story of Jesus. Those who participate write a one sentence summary of what they learned about God and, if in the Old Testament, how the reading points to Jesus. October 23
Jesus is the Messiah who came into the world and is above all things. Through Jesus, I will not perish but I can have water that wells up to eternal life.
Jesus was led by the Spirit to be tempted by the Devil in the desert but Jesus overcame all temptation with the word of God. The word of God has the power to defeat all temptations.
Jesus is the true Savior of the world. It is only through him I can have eternal life.
